About Us
Our Story
How we started. We have lived in George Town with our families our whole lives. We have two children, Sophie and Mitchell, who are both teenagers and keen Mountain Bike riders. We love this little town, and we can see things are happening, and our little town is starting to buzz.
We started to have an interest in mountain biking a couple of years ago when our son started to ride with his mates. Then Jason decided to get a bike and have a go and have loved it ever since then. Recently we saw an opportunity to start our little business venture, something that will improve George Town and bring people to our beautiful little town.
So we then spoke to one of our mates who said “go for it mate, you’ll never know unless you give it ago”.
So we did and bought a bus!
From there we contacted Paul from Reel Game Boats and Trailers, who helped Jason build our customised bike trailers to hold up to 14 bikes on each.
We then used local signs man Phil Hawkins from Hawk Signs to customise our logo and stickers for the bus and trailer.
Here we are ready to go and SEND IT!
You might have heard some whispers and yes, they are true… Up Down Around MTB is the new owner of Send It MTB Shuttles George Town linking up two mountain biking meccas with a shuttle service like no other.
